“The place was spacious and comfortable to move around in. The outside deck had a wonderful view of the mountains. My stay with friends, we had a wonderful time playing board games and just enjoying the quiet, peaceful area after our hard days of demanding work!”

“Great location for visiting area historical sites. House was verify well stocked and clean. Did not get to enjoy the exterior due to the many days of Elaine. Beds were very comfortable. Everything you would need is there with the exception of a toaster in the kitchen Would recommend and would stay again if visiting the area. ”

“The house is a beautiful property on the West Virginia side of the Potomac River. Despite problems caused by events outside of the owners control (hurricane), they remained in contact and had the problems worked on immediately. ”

When we arrived they had muffins waiting and really just welcoming! I totally recommend cheking this place out it is close to whitetail if you want to go skiing like we did but if you just want a night or two to disconnect it is very great!”

“This home is comfortable and clean, well heated (we stayed in the winter season), has a stocked kitchen with appliances and cookware (the coffee provided as well is excellent!), parking was easy and accessible, and communication with local property managers was flawless! We had a great time with friends staying here and skiing during the time. If we return for the next ski season to Whitetail, we will definitely try to book this property once more! ”

“My 2 sister snd I took my mom on a weekend trip. Everything was perfect just like the description says. The bedroom on the main level was a bonus since my mom is 75 and hard for her to climb stairs. The house was so clean and was decorated perfect the beds and sofa so comfortable. The kitchen is hugh and so much storage. We didnt cook but the kitchen is perfect for cooking and so spacious with everything you would need. They even left us snacks. It was so breath taking to see the sun come……

“We really liked this place! It’s centrally located to all of the different hiking trails and towns we visited. The house is cozy and well appointed-especially for those who want to cook their own meals. The bathroom is very high end with built in washer/dryer (although the height challenged may need a step stool to reach the dryer, but not a problem ;)The bird quantities and variety were nice to observe and listen to while enjoying coffee/wine in the morning/evening. We really felt at home……
