“We had a wonderful time at the cabin on Balsam Lake! The downstairs area was perfect for the kids and we had plenty to do between fishing and the kayaks. We braved the seaweed in the middle of the lake for a short swim but were happiest on top of the water. ”

“This stay was super convenient for a recent concert we went to. The house it’s self and setting are a bit unconventional but don’t let that deter you. It’s clean and friendly and the system of in and out is very organized. Home owner and son are very accommodating and patient with our energetic children. They even provide a nice little breakfast of fruit, cinnamon rolls and great coffee to send you on your way. I will definitely stay here again when in need of staying near Sommerset or even……

“Beautiful place, kind neighbors, amazing view, outstanding hosts. Easy ti find, gps brings you to the doorstep without hesitation. We had access to this lovely place for a week, caught 3 limits of sunfish within 10ft of dock. The only thing youll need to bring is you, your clothes, and food. Oh bait to fish, but forget that and theres a store within a 3 minutes drive. We are returning next year and highly recommend to all.”

“This was our second stay and we already booked for next year. Great location for kids, sandy beach area and plenty of room to spread out indoors if the weather doesn’t cooperate (and we have 8 adults and 7 kids!). Clean and stocked, the lily pad was a huge hit! ”

“Wonderful home with space for all three families. We had 5 adults 6 kids and 2 dogs. The games were so fun and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking family meals. Great blankets to cozy up to too! We did need to buy dish soap but otherwise everything was fully stocked. The deck is very cozy with a relaxing view. Thank you for a memorable family vacation!”
