Independent motel in a small town brought back fond memories of traveling in the USA in the 70's. Big, clean room with easy parking.

Overall our stay was great! The staff were very friendly and courteous! The rooms were vintage with plenty of space parking next to the room was easy. Breakfast was included and the waffle in the shape on Texas coffee was a great way to start my morning. If I'm ever in this area again, I will definitely stay here!

Wife & I always lived near pieces of Route 66 so stayed here on 1/1/2025. It is remodeled and restored but with modern heating, bathrooms, carpet, etc but retained the Route 66 era feel and appearance, like big Stars on all outside doors to tell folks they are in Texas! Room has little fridge, TV, WiFi, microwave, even a safe! Beds are classic but Queen size with new, wonderfully comfortable mattresses. Shower was hot and full force! Breakfast was hot biscuits and gravy and waffles. We stayed in lots of motels paying more than twice as much on this trip, and this was not the fanciest, but still our favorite.

It was clean. Staff were pleasant/nice. The 9.2 rating for this from reviewers is hard to believe. The room was not "quaint," it was old and in need of repair and updating. The toilet was very low to the ground and had a very small seat. Anyone of size or with a compromised body in any way would find it very difficult to use. To call the continental breakfast "modest" would be generous. Sorry to write such a negative review, as I liked the owners. But I feel I was blindsided by the flattering rating and reviews.

Traveling with two teenagers can be rough. This hotel offered 3 queen beds. This was perfect allowing each teen their own bed. The place is clean, but is outdated (bathroom yellow, with blue shower, and light green toilet ). The heater is loud but is a sound very easily to sleep through. When checking in they were very friendly and helpful. We checked out very early so didn’t interact with employees is morning.

We arrived later in the evening and were greeted by a very kind gentleman who had just made Indian soup. The smell was outstanding!! He checked us in quickly and explained how to turn the heater on and when breakfast was. Our only concern was the clock in the room kept making an aggravating sound so we unplugged it.

Very cute motel, a little dated but cute nonetheless. Loved how colorful the room and outside of the motel was. The shower head was wobbly and the lock on the door felt a bit flimsy but aside from that, everything worked and was clean and nice. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again
