“This was my family's second time staying at this home and once again our stay was amazing. Martina and Claire are fabulous to work with and very responsive to messages and texts. The home itself has everything- it is spacious, multiple bathrooms and a large kitchen to enjoy! The location is spectacular!! “We had a great time staying at this property. It is in the heart of Connemara with easy access to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara NP, Clifden, Galway and Westport. The islands are very close as well. As you should expect Irish weather changes on a dime from rain to sun and back in a moments notice. The owners live on the property and are very friendly and helpful.”

“What a home… the view, the space, the location are all stunning. John made the check in incredibly simple and was kind enough to drop by the next day to welcome us. If you’re looking for (somewhat) remote tranquility on a stunning Irish peninsula, stop scrolling. For the very reasonable price John charges, you won’t find better. I promise you! “Brilliant house, one of the best that we have stayed in. The views amazing and the house has everything that you need. We had a good chat with the German neighbour who gave us some tips on seeing the seals nearby. We loved all of the beaches in the area and had a couple of good meals in Westport. ”

“On a three week trip to Europe this was our overall favorite rental.From the moment we opened the door we felt instantly comfortable and at home. “Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The host is very nice and helpful. The house is like a palace and the views from the house are stunning. The house is very well equiped, I can't think of anything missing. They even have a 'kaasschaaf' (Dutch for 'cheese slicer). “Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. ”

“Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase.……
