“Overall room cleanliness and size are good, thank you hotel for special arrangements for anniversary. Location - it’s a good walk to the ancient town, but the way back needs to go up slope, so better for ride hailing. Hotel service can be better, hotel staff weren’t too helpful when asked for recommendations of places to eat or certain amenities. ”

“Owners do their best to make the room warm in the winter, with modern facilities and (most importantly) without compromising the feeling of this beautiful historical building. The hotel picks us up in mid night and respond our msg instantly very good service. Great breakfast btw. 大理冬天确实有点儿冷不过酒店已经尽其所能保障温暖了房子很有格调老板半夜一点来接我们很尽责非要说哪里可以改进就是老宅偶尔有略微的反味不过不是大问题因为是古宅我们也理解 ”
