This camp has a hot spring. It is so relax to dip into the hot spring after hiking. Also, you can pick strawberries and tomatoes in their farm. What more can you ask for.
I was a bit concerned about noise, since this is mostly a dormitory/camping setup for bikers (motorized and non-motorized), but they have some pretty strict policies in place and, apparently, their guests follow them. I stayed in one of the separate cabins that was equipped with a bunkbed and table and chairs and was delighted to have one of the quietest stays of all my traveling years. Very nice!
Clione’s lobby is wonderful, and they have two private onsens (one for males, one for females). The one for males was extremely hot but felt SO good!
I’ll happily stay here again.
Very nice place to stay at. The kitchen was well-equipped. Got to know some Japanese while in the kitchen. Washing machine and dryer avail. The onsen was very good! It was very cold in the room during sleeping time. Only 1 toilet for female in the whole guesthouse.
