“It was the view that sold us. Having our morning breakfast looking over the river was perfect. The kids had plenty of space to run around in. The balcony was gated so no worries about the kids going down to the river. Would stay again!”

Our time using the home was too short as we had traveled to Redding for "Celebration of Life" for a family member and most of our weekend was spent away from the property with the family elsewhere. We'd like to come back and enjoy more time there...a great prooerty for a family gathering!”

“If I could give this place a higher rating I would! This place exceeded my expectations of what it would be like. The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed for this get away! Perfect views, comfortable furniture and beds and just the great outdoors all in one! Do not believe the bad reviews left at this place, honestly the people who had a problem with this place are impatient and don’t know how to enjoy themselves. I’ve seen reviews of people complaining about spider webs here and there……

“The house was beautiful. The location was great. We came for the car show and we couldn't be happier with the gousr.”

“The house is right on a cove of Lake Shasta. Beautiful views of the bridge reflecting in the water. We stayed three nights. We had a two year old with us and the listing said there was a travel crib. We couldn't find one and the owner delivered one to us that evening along with some nice bar soap. Beds were comfy and the sheets nice and soft. Kitchen was well stocked. Pool and hot tub were both used and enjoyed. BBQ too. ”

“This cottage is absolutely adorable. It is stocked with a microwave, refrigerator, hot plate, toaster oven, and Keurig. There are wonderful touches like coffee pods, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, and Q-tips in the bathroom. Nightstands were complete with water and York peppermint patties. This place feels homey and the bed is very comfortable. Amy has created a peaceful and relaxing retreat. My husband, dog, and I enjoyed staying here while exploring the area. ”
