“The staff was super friendly, and the environment was definitely warm, but not very welcoming. Very dirty place from wall to wall, both my son’s and my bed had broken legs so when you laid in bed, the side you’re laying on falls to the ground and the side you’re not laying on sticks up in the air an extra 8 inches. Again, we were very grateful for the friendly staff, and for having a place to close our eyes for the night, but this hotel needs a serious remodel, and the owner needs to step up……

“I give this 5 stars because for a two star hotel they did a really nice job! This is in the middle of nowhere and we were so happy it was there. “The house and the host were both great! The host was quick to respond to my questions, very accommodating and friendly. We loved the history associated with the house and host family. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Close to the lake and town, (less than 10 minutes to both), yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet.
