“I see what the owners were trying to do with this property but it isn’t quiet there. When you first walk in you’re met with smoker smells throughout the house, along with wood stove pellet bags laying out on the floor that we about tripped over bringing our luggage in. Throughout the house there are simple things that are overlooked and concerning. No outlet covers on multiple outlets, light bulb sockets with no bulbs, no drain plug for my child to take a bath, no butter knives only sharp……

“This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. ”

“My wife and I rented Cozy Creek Cabin so that our adult daughters who are all living or going to school in the Winchester/MD area could come and spend Thanksgiving with us. We had a great time and the house was really nice. The location is beautiful and everything was clean and working well. The Internet was spotty at times, but for the most part we could stream our usual shows when we wanted to and the grad students could do their work. “We (myself and my significant other, along with our 2 dogs) stayed here for 10 beautiful days. We loved everything about the cabin, but the screened in porch and the hot tub were our favorites. We can’t wait to come back. Also to note!! Despite Apple Maps saying the local grocery store was closed on Sunday, it wasn’t!! It’s open 7 days a week. ”
