“This property is everything you want from a Northeast Kingdom getaway! The home is well appointed, clean and comfortable. “On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. “We stayed 6 days, my wife, daughter and friend, and our two dogs. Roomy and clean, very beautiful cottage. Fully appointed kitchen with all the supplies one needs. We built a fire in the big handsome fireplace, also with all the tools needed. We appreciated the choice of two dining areas, we pretty much stuck to the breakfast nook. Every morning we dropped the girls at Jay Peak, then myself, wife and dogs, hiked, relaxed, napped and enjoyed the quiet. Would love to do it again!”
