We were surprised and grateful to find such a beautiful resort at the last minute—it offered a much-needed escape during a difficult time for our family. We booked through Expedia but were unfortunately charged three separate times. When we contacted the hotel manager for help, he claimed he couldn’t access the necessary info and offered no help. As someone with years of experience in the hospitality industry in Nashville, I found his response both unexpected and deeply disappointing. Dealing with billing errors is frustrating enough, but to face that kind of issue during an already stressful time—and have no support from management—made our visit a negative one overall. That said, the property itself is stunning. If you do choose to stay, I strongly recommend paying in cash to avoid similar issues. Also, we had a poor experience at the Tower Bar. The service was inattentive and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming to guests who weren’t regulars. The bartender made it clear we weren’t welcome, which left a bad impression. The customer service in the sports bar/restaurant was excellent however!
