“On the Bay is a great apartment with views that the photos don't do any justice. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the is a good selection of board games for a family. ”

“We found this to be a very pleasant holiday unit with a beautiful view out over the garden, and a top-floor balcony to catch the breezes. All the bits and pieces needed to make a home for the week were included. The resort complex had a nice pool, and was an easy walk through bushland to the beach. I liked the way it was set just a little out of the main town, as the setting was very quiet and peaceful overall, even during school holidays. I would definitely like to stay there again one day.”

“Average accommodation, overpriced”

“Initially we were disappointed that the unit did not overlook the ocean but then realised it was actually one of the best units to have - it overlooks the main street which always has activity happening but is not too noisy. Not being ocean front meant that we did not get the full on ocean wind. We did get afternoon sun on the front deck but it is one of the few apts that has a rear deck as well which we loved. Very convenient to all restaurants/bars and other conveniences as well as the beach.……

“Property was just as it was advertised. It was well equipped, everything you may want in a kitchen. It was very clean and spacious. We loved our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend 😊”

“The location was good, easy and pleasant walk to beach. The room had plumbing issues which the real estate and plumber went above and beyond to fix problem quickly. The unit was very very cold, no heater or heating, which I feel was as reason I got pneumonia, tv played up and furniture was dated. Sliding door to courtyard was hard to open and close due to the wheels felt worn. Swimming pool area with BBQ and tennis courts were nice.”

“The apartment and surrounding resort were very good. Clean and good value for money. The only glitch we had was the information given by Real Estate directed us to the wrong apartment. I would also advise to ask how to access tennis courts, as you need an access code that we weren't given”

“Fantastic place to stay. Just need to be aware that you have to order lonen and towels for an extra fee, we missed this on booking but the real estate was really prompt in getting it together for us.”

“Location to the beach is fabulous. Really loved Rainbow Beach and all it offers. I felt the general cleaning of the property was below standard. Lights weren’t working in bedrooms.”

“We stayed for a week, very clean and tidy, good size for a family of four, excellent bedding, good pool and spectacular views across to Fraser Island.”

“The whole family enjoyed staying here a lot. The kids loved the unit, pools and tennis court. The owners were very welcoming and responsive to my questions. There was an issue with the stove top not working, though there was a stand alone fry pan that could be used as an alternate. All in all I’d give the accomodation and hosts a 5 star. I’d stay here again.”
