“Beautiful view of the ocean and bay! Lots of wildlife to see. There was construction when we stayed but didn’t notice the noise from our room. Kitchen well equipped with everything you might need. ”

The deck was a great place to sit in the evening and enjoy the scenery and listen to the birds. The location is perfect for lots of great hikes and exploring the nearby parks. “We stayed several nights in July while visiting Victoria. The place was very easy to access, had all the basics and was very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to do laundry.”

“The place was spotless and the owners provided several extra touches like freshly roasted coffee beans. The only reason we didn’t give a 5 star rating is because the property description said there was a washer and there wasn’t. We were on a long trip and selected places with washers. The owner offered to wash our clothes but we didn’t feel comfortable doing that. Otherwise it was great. ”

“John and Susan were the perfect hosts!! Great communication and we really enjoyed our chats and suggestions for the area. The suite was a cozy coastal retreat with an inviting window seat to enjoy the lake view and many bird species visiting the garden. Super comfy bed, relaxing rain shower and well stocked kitchen. Central location was great for getting to all our favourite spots both in Victoria and Sooke. Thanks for such a wonderful experience and will be back!!”
