“We were part of a family gathering that included parents and four grown children. Mom and Dad were in "Cozy Cabin Getaway", while we stayed up the hill in the "Guest House". We really enjoyed the proximity of the cabin for meals and hot tubbing, but then enjoyed the fact that our accommodations were separate. We would highly recommend booking both properties. Matheson Lake Park offers hiking trails as well as swimming, and it is only a short walk away. We also went salmon fishing in Sooke,……

“If you are looking for a quality place to stay and this is available. STOP. Book this property. On a quite residential street. The double beds are comfortable. Large spacious kitchen with coffeemaker, hot water pot, micro, air fryer, dishwasher, large refrig with freezer, etc. In living room--large windows, AC, TV, and recliner with vibrate mode. Easy 9 miles driving from Victoria. Highly recommend.”

“The suite was perfect for us. Everything seemed new and very modern. We were visiting family at Royal Bay and location was perfect. Also very close to many restaurants and shopping. But good to know is that there is no ‘live’ TV. YouTube, Netflix and Prime all worked great on a large TV. Owner was very responsive and easy to contact.”

It was also tastefully decorated, and very well stocked with the basic essentials, including cleaning products. I found the mattress gave me the support I needed to avoid back issues. Again, the cleanliness of the bedding and towels was outstanding. I did not have a vehicle, so I cannot comment on the driving and/ or parking. On occasion, there was some noise from above……
