“Staff friendly and clean room”

“I was comfortable and slept well in my room. The bed was great and the noise was minimal since I had a room away from the highway intersection. I had hot water and clean sheets and towels. The owners/operators and housekeeping staff were friendly. The motel is old; I remember when it was built in the late 70’s (or so). It is adequate basic accommodations for Homer and surrounding towns. It’s sad to see once vibrant small North Louisiana towns like Homer in Claiborne Parish dwindling in size,……

“While the town itself doesn't have much going on and was pretty abandoned, this stay was exactly what I needed. “This is a lovely manor, and although signs of age are evident, it appears the owners are working towards complete restoration. It's close to plenty of what Minden has to offer, very convenient to stores, gasoline. I'm here for a church conference and I'm just 3 minutes away. I was able to select what I want for breakfast; hope it's good.”
