“This house was fantastic. We didn’t have the best weather this Memorial Day weekend but the house, pond and view made up for it. Jeremy stocked the house with everything we could possibly need including fresh eggs from the resident chickens, bacon, snacks and so much more. It was quiet and the bed was super comfortable. Our dog enjoyed watching the beautiful fish in the pond and visiting the chickens. We can’t wait to return!”

It has been a very positive experience with communication, timely responses to questions, the property is immaculately clean, inviting with comfortable rooms. Kitchen well stocked and the outside property was beautiful. Unfortunately it rained so could not fully experience it. Definitely recommend ”

“Our group needed two things: lots of room for people to sleep and somewhere peaceful to relax and we got that all and more! The house is beautiful and the surrounding property is right out of a fairy tale. Nate is great to work with and the house was immaculate when we arrived. The house is wild and fun- some spot you gotta watch your head! It’s cozy though and great for inspiration and relaxing. If you don’t want to hear the rest of the group, this isn’t the house for you… sound carries! But……

“The name might suggest a house full of skylights (spoiler: there aren’t any), it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us.The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped—we were able to prepare and enjoy multiple sit-down dinners for 17 people using both the kitchen and the adjacent dining area.The great room is a fantastic space for adults to relax, featuring a cozy fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating. It was also helpful to have a separate living room with a TV, board games, and lots of room for the kids……

“The Barn is one of the best STR we have ever stayed at. Perfect for a couple, room enough to spread out. Very tasteful decor and great amenities. Area activities to check out; So Vt Arts Center, Hildene, and a little more of a drive Robert Frost Stone House in Bennington and King Arthur Flour (flagship stire) in Norwich. Favorite restaurant Silver Fork (IMHO one of the best restaurants in New England and the Restaurant at Hill Farm has the best pizza.”

“Viking appliances...need I say more? Beautiful setting, away from the hubbub of town but not far at all. The screened in porch was perfect for a game of cards at night. The only problem was the listing said sleeps 6 but it only sleeps 4 so my daughter and her BF couldn't come. That really should be updated...would stay here again for sure!”

“We are originally from the area and had no idea how much it had been built up for a small town. The house was very cozy, and property was perfect for 2 dogs. We had our family of four adults. It was a challenge with one bathroom, but it worked out. We did have some issues with the lighting. The house is dark and could use some brighter lighting in some rooms and near stairs. There are lots of windows for natural light. We didn't take advantage of the hot tub or fire pit. Communication……
