We arrive and once we walk in, it’s really not bad. We decided to book this hotel to spend for a few hours to take our coach to Koh Rong. We get to the hotel at 2pm for check-in. There are no pleasantries or how may I help you? On top of that, they are clue-less on how to check us in. But when we finally did get checked in, we were able to leave the bulk of our luggage at the front desk. We were brought upstairs (no elevator) and the cleaner was still in the room cleaning. Like seriously? We went back downstairs and sat at the bar and had a drink. Honestly, the bar and dining area don’t look bad. But the staff are just left wanting. It was buy one get one half off or something like that. The best thing about the hotel was the bartender and the drinks. After having our drinks, the room was still not ready so we left to get something to eat. We come back and go to our room and I open the fridge to put our beverages in there and there is this awful stench. It seems the last persons left their food in the fridge and the cleaner who supposedly just finished cleaning the room did not see that. The room is small. How do you miss that? I had to call the front desk to deal with it. Anyway, aside from the 1920’s television, the food left in the fridge, the broken lock on the door, the clue-less staff and the broken ac what makes a lot of noise but does not work, I now understand why it was so cheap. You get what you pay for, but it was good enough to stay for a couple of hours.
