“This is my third time in Siem Reap and this hotel is the best! It is very close to Angkor Wat and the owner and his daughter are super friendly and make sure you have a pleasant stay! The room is huge and the bathroom is even bigger! Finally, after a long day of walking around the temples, the pool is a great way to relax!! “Our stay at Velea was fantastic. The building is only 2 years old, very modern, with continual maintenance as it shows no signs of wear like many places do. Pool and Gym facilities are on point. The staff always make a big difference, the staff at Velea were amazing. “We chose this because we heard Siem Reap (SR) had become a mad house (it has in parts). GVV is a beautiful oasis. There are only four villas, each are two floor, architecturally fun, 2BR/2.5BA. Grounds and pool beautifully landscape. Staff great. But it is too far to walk to SR, which isn’t really a big deal given super cheap tuktuks. ”
