“Very clean, plenty of space. We did not venture upstairs so can’t comment on that, but everything was as described. It was absolutely freezing when we arrived, and most of the wood pieces were large, so chopping wood in the dark was not in our plans. Perhaps the cleaner could have turned on the kitchen area heater for a bit before guests arrive. As soon as we unpacked and got a fire going, we sat down to watch the projection tv, and discovered that none of the living room outlets were working.……

“My wife and I loved our stay here. The house was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Sitting on the front deck was very relaxing with the stream flowing right in front. We spent most of our time out exploring, there is so much to do in this area. The hike to the top of the lookout tower was amazing (best to drive up thru Bassets and then towards Packer Lake so that you don't have to drive up the rough unpaved road from Sierra City). The brewery in Blairsden is a great stop after a……
