“A wonderful, peaceful place to stay in the trees. The game room (e.g., pool table felt had a couple holes, dart board missing a number, no chalk for dart board scoreboard, etc) and other aspects could use some refreshing/updating, but the house overall worked out great for my family. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're going to be in the area.”

“Nicely situated just north of Aviemore, there is a small village shop/Post Office not far away in Deshar Road, but if you need a large shop of groceries then Aviemore is only minutes away. The accommodation is very good with a double bedroom with en suite and a dressing area and a second twin bedroom opposite the family bathroom. There is a HD satellite tv in the living area with a supply of dvds to watch. The owner kindly allows the use of their own pedal cycles, which were perfect for a ride……

“This was our 2nd time staying at this beautiful home tucked away in Groveland! It fit our family of 16 perfectly! It is beautifully furnished and the pool table is a hit with all ages. The host is so accommodating and very easy to communicate with. The home is stocked with so many little nice and thoughtful touches. We will definitely be back next year. ”

“we have stayed 4 nights and could stay longer if we had a time. The challet is in a great location, less than an hour from Yosemite valley, Hetch Hetchy dam or Sonora, but in a very quite location at the end of a road. You can get there easily, just go to the end of paved Hells Hollow road and then keep straight on the dirt road until you reach 2111 and the gate. Just drive very slowly on the dirt road especially at the times when is so dry and hot like now as driving fast gets a lot of dust in……
