“Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und alle Geräte funktionieren. Die Klimaanlage haben wir eigentlich gar nicht benötigt, da bei offenen Fenstern immer ein leichter Durchzug im Haus vorhanden war.Am Pool zirpten die Grillen und ab und an bellten die Hunde. Etwas anspruchsvoll ist lediglich der Transport schwerer Taschen zum Haus, da man doch einen Weg über Stufen zurücklegen muss. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub!”

It has everything needed for cooking in the kitchen or bbq’ing on the terrace, and the setting within an old castle complex and in the midst of mountainous nature is just awesome. “What a find! We went as a large family group, so to have separate apartments for each individual family worked out perfectly for us. Their accommodation was well equipped immaculately clean and comfortable.Some of our part of a clean cyclist, so to any cyclist it’s an absolute Mecca, but you have to like hills! ”

“We were awe stricken upon arrival. This home was even better in person. There was one morning when there were low clouds in the valley and we ate on the patio seemingly above the clouds. The views were spectacular. The drive to the home is typical, switchbacks, tight curves and elevation gain. The nights at the main house were cool and comfortable. The pool was always refreshing after our daily adventures. There is a bathroom by the pool for convenience too. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table……

“Die Casa Metato liegt oberhalb von Castiglione di Garfagnana, man hat einen fantastischen Blick auf das Tal und die umliegenden Berge. Das Haus selbst ist blitzsauber und mit allem, was man für die Selbstversorgung benötigt, ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam. Gabriele hat uns über WhatsApp mit sehr guten Ausflugstipps versorgt und seine Eltern haben uns überaus freundlich begrüßt.
