“Silver Gate Lodging is located only 2-3 miles from the NE entrance to Yellowstone. The room has been remodeled and was comfortable. The property manager greeted us promptly at the counter in the General Store. She gave us a quick rundown of other businesses nearby for food, coffee, etc. She offered free internet while sitting on the General Store front porch. The other guests were very friendly with a community type atmosphere around the fire pit. The Log Cabin Cafe across the road is delicious……

“A sweet, clean and comfortable space, super convenient to the friendly town of Silver Gate and wildlife viewing in Lamar Valley. There’s a beautiful view of mountains, moonlight, and friendly foxes from the porch. We enjoyed our time there especially grilling on the porch. The ladder up to the loft is not bad at all, but be aware that adults can’t stand up straight in most of the loft space. And the living space is cozy if you will also have the sofa bed in use. ”

“Cool older log home in great location to visit the Northeast corner of Yellowstone. Awesome place to stay if you want to fish Soda Butte and Slough Creek. The home is a little outdated and awkward, but it is clean and nice. The kitchen is great for cooking a lot. Communication was easy with no problems. I would stay here again.”

“This was the best vacation our family has ever had -starting with the house and host. The house is everything it appears in the photos and more. It is spacious, comfortable and charming inside and outside it is situated between two beautiful mountain ranges and beside a beautiful creek with a perfect deck. Beyond that, the host gave such great suggestions for guides in the local area, which includes a neighbor that has horseback riding out to a fly fishing site in the park and great wildlife……
