“Lovely pub, very clean very friendly staff food was absolutely lovely definitely stay here again. We booked 4 rooms for 8 people and we all say the same. ”

“Caravan was spotlessly clean. The addition of tea coffee milk wash up liquid etc very handy. Beds very comfortable. Everything in the van looked brand new. So quiet. Will definitely be booking a return with friends and family. Beach was a stones throw and so nice. ”

“Fantastic staff mostly shout out to poppy who was amazing ! Breakfast and pizzas amazing , views from pub garden lovely , Lady at breakfast very grumpy and told to leave the room early S she needed to clean it although we had an prior arrangement to book out late , she made us leave very rude ”

“This is the third occasion we have stayed at The Recruiting Sergeant and hopefully it won't be the last. We received a prompt and friendly check-in on arrival and were shown to our first-floor room which was a good size, as was the bathroom. Both were spotless and were kept that way for the duration of our 4 night stay. Overlooking the road caused us no concerns. Great choice of good quality food for breakfast and we had our evening meal there on 3 of the 4 nights. Superb choice of food and wine……
