“We enjoyed our time here. House was clean and was exactly as described in the listing. We used the boat dock for our boat over the weekend. The one thing that I wish we would have known is just how heavily trafficked this part of the lake is. The many boats go very fast and causing giant wakes last the docks which made it a little unsafe for our young kids at a few times. This is not controlled by the homeowner and was likely a product of a warm weather weekend. ”

“From the beginning, communication was great...very responsive to my questions.This is a beautiful property. The house was right on the Lake with awesome views from the large windows, the deck and from the firepit area right below. It was a great experience and i couldnt be happier. You wont be dissapointed.”

“Charming shabby chic cottage with appropriate sized furniture and lots of small tables to move around for individual needs. Star rating based on price point. Immediate area hotel rooms are substandard or very pricey. This is refreshing with options of cooking/barbecue. Cottage built into hillside and back property upper level has beautiful morning sunrise views. Morning Sun also streams into living room and kitchen. Close to town by car, not walkable. “The owner-couple have restored and maintained this beautiful historical mansion, a part of Scranton's once-central role in the economy of the North-East, to create a perfect venue for group gatherings. Their attention to detail has preserved the elegant atmosphere, and at every point of our stay, there was someone to support and answer any questions. “The house was super clean, and decorated so beautifully! Everything was explained thoroughly by the owners. Out of all the vacation houses we rented before, Matt’s house was the cleanest, even to the dishes. The views from the huge living room windows are absolutely stunning. It was raining/snowing when we stayed but we got to enjoy the house! The heating works great, my family stayed in the lower level but it was very warm. We hope to come back in the summertime! “We had a good week at the UP Cabin. The only issues we had from a cleanliness perspective were not the fault of the property owner, it seems the tenants before us were a little sloppy and managed to leave behind some things. Had a plumbing issue during the week but the owner had it taken care of ASAP for us, very much appreciated. They have done a nice job with the house for sure. Love the wood panel walls and ceiling, and the kitchen is REALLY well stocked for your stay. Our kids really enjoyed……
