“I was comfortable and slept well in my room. The bed was great and the noise was minimal since I had a room away from the highway intersection. I had hot water and clean sheets and towels. The owners/operators and housekeeping staff were friendly. The motel is old; I remember when it was built in the late 70’s (or so). It is adequate basic accommodations for Homer and surrounding towns. It’s sad to see once vibrant small North Louisiana towns like Homer in Claiborne Parish dwindling in size,……

“While the town itself doesn't have much going on and was pretty abandoned, this stay was exactly what I needed. Safe parking, friendly owner, eclectic but clean room, and the most comfortable bed I've stayed in this week, even coming out better than fancy or chain hotels. I think the only thing I would change is possibly requesting that the AC be turned on before I arrive because it was very hot and took a while to cool down, as well as adding a vent to the bathroom to keep the heat and……
