I am writing to express my deep disappointment with our recent stay at The Singer Oceanfront Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton. Our family had high expectations based on the photos and information provided online, but unfortunately, our experience did not align with what was advertised.
Upon making our reservation, we were under the impression that the parking fees were included in the total cost. However, when we arrived, we were informed that parking was an additional charge—$25 per night for self-parking and nearly $40 per night for valet. This was unexpected and frustrating.
The condition of the hotel was also far below our expectations. The building appeared quite old, and there was a persistent unpleasant odor throughout the hallways and our room. The images and descriptions online were misleading and gave the impression of a modern, four to five-star resort, which this clearly is not.
The service we received further contributed to our dissatisfaction. Upon arrival, there was no assistance with our luggage. The front desk staff, in particular, were unhelpful and displayed a poor attitude. One staff member, in particular, seemed bothered whenever we had questions and made us feel unwelcome
We were also celebrating a special occasion—a birthday—and had rented a cabana for the day at an additional cost of $300. Overall, we paid a premium for what we thought would be a luxurious and enjoyable weekend, but our experience was anything but. Sadly, I do not consider this p
