Paradis på jord!
Flott luftig hytte i bambus med svært romsleg bad og kjempeflott terrasse med sitteplass og hengekøye. Gode bademuligheter, men litt mykje rusk på stranda. Fantastisk hyggeleg og service innstilt vertskap. Paradis på jord. Wifi både på spiseplass og på hyttene. Litt varierande dekning på telefonen.

It is a tiny resort, with a few resorts on sugar beach, most of the time it felt like we were alone, which is great for a romantic weekend everyone is kind. The water is clear the Beach is clean. Like others have said you can go to the other places to eat. But I will definitely be going back. The owners and are very accommodating.

Great place!
This place was a fantastic resort to stay for 2 nights at a good price! I was alittle hesitant as no air-conditioning but it cools down nicely at night and the fan is good. The wifi isn't th best in room but is good in restaurant. The location is hard to get to as you need a pump boat over the river then walked along beach but once you work it out its easy. The beach is the main reason to come here it's spectacular. And the owners are very friendly! I highly reccomend this place! It's a secret place(sugar beach) that will be super popular one day!

A superb place with a great staff.
A great, quiet, clean place near a very beautiful beach. The staff there was perfect. The largest room is really nice, good decoration like Bali style. It’s a very quiet place if you like having or hoping a place for party you must go to another place than Sipalay. The wifi is not really working well but enough.

Avslappende opphold
Stranden er kjempefin, og siden den kun kan nås med båt, er det også få andre turister der. Det er et rolig og behagelig område. Rommet var helt greit, men man kunne godt ha utnyttet potensialet til både rommet og hotellområdet mye bedre! Eksempel: Vaske og gjøre noe koselig ut av hemsen. Henge opp koselige lys på uteområdet. Vanne plenen og plante flere blomster. Stort pluss for stor og bra myggnetting. Det er veldig deilig at man kan gå rett på stranden og bade. Det bor noen nydelige hunder på området som vi ble veldig glade i. Restauranten har begrensede åpningstider og grei mat, men lite alternativer for en vegetarianer så vi spiste mest på et av de andre hotellene i nærheten. Generelt god service, men den ansatte i restauranten så ut til å mistrives veldig.

Sugar Beach’s hidden gem
This small resort is a tranquil oasis on Sugar Beach. A totally awesome place to unwind. The cabins are actually NICER than the photos! Rented two of the three cabins on the property - one for our nieces and one for my wife and I. The beach is clean with amazing sand (no coral in the water underfoot). Swimming along the entire stretch is fantastic! As it is only accessible by boat traffic is limited to the guests staying at all the resorts along the beach (which was limited as well!) My wife and I are easy going and don’t need to be connected to the internet 24/7, so this place was exactly what we needed to inwind. If you’re the high maintenance type - this may not be for you. The beer and soft drinks are the coldest I’ve experienced in the Philippines and the menu is simple hearty fare in decent portions at a reasonable price, comparable with the other resorts along the strip. We WILL be going back. 5 our 5 stars!
