When I checked in, the room toilet had not been flushed. Asked the staff about it. there was no follow-up. The toilet also would not stop running and the staff thought that was normal. I had to press a second button to stop, how dumb. The evening check-in man was nice, but the woman in the morning was kind of rude. I did like the bike rental.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Porto Azzuro. All the staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Special shout out to Andrea behind the bar who served a delicious range of complimentary snacks alongside the poolside cocktails. We had the 2 bedroom family room which had two balconies, perfect for getting the kids off to sleep and still being able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy a glass of wine. We did find the bed rather on the hard side but the staff arranged for a mattress topper to be fitted which made it very comfortable. The breakfast and lunch menu had a good selection and the staff were attentive. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Tolle Erfahrung – sehr empfehlenswert! Der Check-in verlief schnell und unkompliziert. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die gesamte Anlage war sauber und gepflegt. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das reichhaltige und gute Frühstück – es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Auch der Lunch im Hotelrestaurant war sehr lecker, mit einer guten Auswahl an Speisen. Die Hotelbar überzeugte ebenfalls mit einer großen Getränkeauswahl und sehr nettem Personal. Am Pool gab es ausreichend Liegen, sodass man immer einen Platz fand. Praktisch: Es stehen kostenlose Fahrräder sowie kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht. Die Einrichtung ist zwar etwas veraltet, aber dennoch vollkommen in Ordnung und gepflegt. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal: Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und der Strand sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und komme gerne wieder!

This hotel is at the beginning of the peninsula, so you have to walk pretty far to get to the castle and old town. There is a bus that makes a loop and stops every 20 minutes, but while we were standing at the bus stop, the bus just passed us by two times! So we stood in the heat for 50 minutes when we could have already have been there if we walked, which we finally did. We asked the lady at the front desk why the bus didn’t stop two times, but she didn’t know. Breakfast was good. One of the girls, Sophia, is an exceptionally hard worker. She kept the breakfast area clean and everything well stocked. She was also friendly and professional.
