Pros: Very clean property, good location right across the street from the entrance to Peninsula State Park. It is right on the main road through town so might be a bit busy in the summer. “We stayed in late Oct 2024. Cabin is older, but very clean. Was a bit chilly in the main room in the evenings (temps in low to mid 40’s); the heaters seemed to have some trouble keeping up. There is a wood burning fireplace in the main room which would have helped, I’m sure, but we were just there in the evenings and didn’t go to the trouble to build a fire. There is an electric fireplace in the bedroom, so it stayed adequately warm at night. The views were beautiful of the sunrises on Lake……

It is beautiful inside and out, very spacious, with room for everyone in the family (including our dog!), yet a very private space from neighbors, and we lacked for nothing. Everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. It was an amazing Christmas visit. ”
