“The home was comfortable and spacious. The location would have been great if it were not for the smell of rotten eggs that permeated the 2nd bedroom and the outdoors. We understood that it was because of the marsh on both sides and decomposing seagrass but it made the outside unusable and the stay in the second bedroom miserable. We are not sure if it is a seasonal occurrence or an all the time thing.”

“We had a great stay at this clean, beachfront home. We hired a driver for the week, planned our own excursions and hired a chef. The home is clean, well appointed and located on the beach. The closest restaurant/bar is under a 5 min walk along the beach or road. It is also the only real walkable option, as this home is currently off the beaten path a bit, and it is only open Thursday to Sunday, but Hopkins is ever expanding so this will likely change in the near future. “Overall this property exceeded all expectations. There were a few kitchen items that could be updated because my partner likes to cook but we made do. The bed was comfortable and the view of the beach was spectacular. I wish I had known about the sand fleas and could have sprayed up because they liked my pheromones and I came home with many itchy bites. There were many excellent restaurants in town. The Paddle Board for lunch was one of our favorites and pizza at the Driftwood. Snorkeling……

“It was great to have the beach to ourselves and be within walking distances to shopping, groceries, restaurants we barely drove our rental at all. Highly recommend walking down the beach. House had everything we needed. Only thing would recommend is bringing stuff for the ocean like a floating toy or similar ”
