“Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine chez Zacharias ; la maison était formidable et idéalement placée pour visiter les deux cotés de l'île. Quiétude totale dans sur le hauteurs de la Crète, mais assez proche toute fois des plages et des commerces. Et que dire de notre hôte qui nous aura accueilli avec un diner 100% préparé maison, tout ce qu'il faut pour le 1er petit déjeuner, et nous aura même offert un petit souvenir au moment du départ. Bref : une réussite totale ; merci Zacharias.”

“Overall it was great value for money and beautiful views from the balcony. Staff were welcoming. The room had good interior decor however we felt there needed to be further renovations to the hotel. It was quite noisy in the room from the main road traffic. The pool side area was very nice with great views. The beach was a bit unclean with cigarette ends etc but cannot always be helped I know. The breakfast was ok but the cooked produce could be improved as appeared dried out and unappetising.……

“Our family of 6 adults had a fantastic time at Villa Sugar. The villa is very spacious, very clean and well designed with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your holiday. The swimming pool is brilliant and the views from the villa are stunning, especially when watching the sun set over the sea and the mountains. There is an excellent supermarket within 100 metres and at least two restaurants you can walk to from the villa. Andreas, the owner is brilliant. His knowledge of the area……

“Die Lage der Villas ist einfach traumhaft, weit weg vom Trubel. Perfekt, wenn man Ruhe und Natur genießen möchte. Ein Mietwagen ist erforderlich, wenn man sich von diesem wunderschönen Ort wegbewegen möchte. “En helt fantastisk opplevelse å være her. Stedet er helt nydelig, med en strand hvor det er mye fisk som gjør snorkling perfekt. Vi gjorde vår research på forhånd og tok med leiebil. Om du vil reise i Skaleta-området kan du fint ta buss, men skal du lenger kan avstandene fort gjøre bil til et bedre alternativ. Hotellet er plassert slik at vi fint kunne ta utflukter mot både Heraklion og Chania!
Vi bodde i en nyoppusset suite med kveldssol og utsikt over havet. Rommet var bedre enn vi kunne……

“The room was very basic for a 5 store hotel. Basic bed and with only two pillows. Air conditioning was not working - the door was closed appropriately in order for it to turn on, but it was warm. We told reception but nothing was done. We stayed in a room with a private pool which was nice, although the water was freezing cold (and we went in late August). Definitely recommend a heated pool. We had a half board - the food was great. We didn’t have a chance to use the amenities.”
