“Just an exquisite home -- beautifully designed, clean, and well maintained -- that's in the perfect location for exploring the Snaefellsness Peninsula! It's an easy drive to both the north and south coasts that take you to some of Iceland's most iconic locales. Borganes is an easy 10-minute drive to get provisions. We were a group of seven, including three school-age kids, and the home gave us more than enough room for both private and gathering space, and the kids loved playing outside. The……

“We loved our stay - right in the water! Views were amazing, kitchen was well stocked and the rooms comfortable. There are only 3 bedrooms though - but plenty of beds. We had one upset teen who had to sleep in the family room which was a bummer. But the house is nice and the private guest house was a great quiet space. ”

“The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. ”
