“Wir haben die zwei Wochen sehr genossen. Vor allem diese Ruhe - keine Touristen oder Verkehr. Sehr nette Vermieterin, die dieses alte urige Häuschen hergerichtet, aber den alten Charakter erhalten hat! Steinboden, krumme Balken, alte Möbel - für Liebhaber ein Kleinod. Das Dorf Trsek allerdings besteht leider aus vielen Ruinen und nur wenigen bewohnten Häusern, was dann ja wieder super ist, wegen der Ruhe! Mitten auf einem Hügel zwischen Weinbergen und Olivenhainen. Natur pur!”

“Really nice place to stay. Our room was very small but we knew this in advance. We were there during a heatwave so the pool was amazing. The airconditioning is also great. Breakfast is good, really nice pistachio croissants. The restaurant next to the hotel is a nice place to eat. Only negatives thing would be that the hotel is a bit noisy, you can hear people in the hallway in the morning for example. ”

“Wir haben die Zeit in Podpec sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr alt und sehr speziell und eine Reise wert. Man kann von dort schöne Wanderungen beginnen, aber auch mit dem Auto schnell am Meer und in Triest sein. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. So etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt!! wir sind als Fremde gekommen und als Freunde gegangen! Danke Neva und Alfio!”

“Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette belle maison bien équipée .La terrasse est très agréable et offre une vue magnifique sur la mer.Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse de nos hôtes.L'Italie est toute proche et il est facile de passer une journée à Trieste . “This is one of the few rental properties on our recent trip to Europe where we felt like the owners had gone to a great deal of effort to provide everything you need to be comfortable. The unit was well stocked so we could cook some meals and there was a decent washer on the premises. The grounds of the property were lovely and the views from the unit are wonderful. “Wir wurden von Majda herzlich empfangen (Blumen, Kräuter, Kakis aus dem Garten, Flasche Wein) und mit ganz vielen Infos über Koper und mögliche Ziele in der Umgebung versorgt. Der Garten ist ein kleines Paradies (mehrere Sitzecken, eine mit Blick auf's Meer, eine unter einer schattigen Kiwi-Pergola), die Wohnung großzügig und neu eingerichtet. Der Ort Koper ist fußläufig zu erreichen (20 Min.) und gut überschaubar; viele Möglichkeiten, gut zu essen. Majda war immer wieder mal da und hat sich……

“Staff were rude. At checkin she chose to answer many calls meaning checkin took a very long time No directions given. Tried to checkout and apparently the remote for air con had to be taken down but no one tells you this Staff were so rude Meals were below average. A Buffett dinner and breakfast but the serving trays were empty and not refilled The rooms were very noisy and aircon didn’t work so well Had to park a very long way away and two people damaged cars because of narrow road ”

“Sehr schönes Haus mit traumhaftem Ausblick, liebevoller Einrichtung und sehr sauber. Die Ortschaft ist gemütlich und man ist schnell in der Natur. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin hat super funktioniert und war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft , gerne wieder :)”

“Zum Strand musste man mit dem Auto 5 Minuten bis 30 Minuten je nach Strand fahren. Der unten an der Klippe war zum Baden im Meer gut, aber nicht um den Tag da zu verbringen. Ansonsten tipptopp, Wohnung hell und gekühlt, super Blick übers Meer und der Poolbereich ist ein Pluspunkt. Kleiner Supermarkt im Nachbardorf, leider teuerer als unten in der Stadt. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. 2 erwachsene, 4 Kinder”

“Die Anlage besteht aus drei seperaten Wohneinheiten wodurch jede Familie ihren privaten Rückzugsort hatte. Der Innenhof/Garten ist schön gestaltet und wir haben viele tolle Abende dort verbracht. Es war das erste Ferienobjekt in dem Mal genügend Geschirr, Besteck, Töpfe etc vorhanden war. Es war auch sehr sauber.”

“I was supposed to stay at this hotel with some friends and we had a non-refundable reservation, then we had to cancel the trip due to Covid19 travel restrictions that kicked-in after the reservation was made (from returnees from Croatia, not Slovenia, but Croatia was our next destination) so I asked if we could use the reservation for some other time in the future but the answer was a firm "no". They didn't have to oblige but still it would have been appreciated if they did, as I think it was a……

“Das Haus ist schön groß und auch sehr sauber. Die Lattenroste der Betten sind überwiegend kaputt und das Sofa ist abgesessen. Kaffeemaschine war kaputt und DVD Player war nicht vorhanden. Die Poolfolie hat einen grün/schwarzen Rand und müsste mal ordentlich gesäubert werden. Ansonsten war eigentlich alles ok, bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten, die aber nicht der Rede wert sind. Vom Vermieter hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass er wenigstens ein mal auf unsere Nachrichten reagiert hätte. Wenigstens dass……

“I love this place. I’ve stayed a few times and I’ll probably return. The staff, food and location are amazing!! There was however a persistent smell resembling backed up sewer. It wasn’t overwhelming but it was off putting. I walked onto a couple other floors and it was throughout the entire building. ”
