“Great central location from which to explore the Borders region from Bamburgh to Melrose ; from the Alnwick Gardens to Edinburgh. After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . “We were made to feel very welcome. The accommodation was very comfortable and brilliantly fitted out. Very comfortable beds and hot tub was fantastic, lookinv out at stunning views.”

“Beautiful, peaceful, cosy. I could go on. The cottage was modern and cosy at the same time. There was a welcome hamper which contained a variety of items which would allow you to eat if you’d brought nothing with you including a cuppa or cappuccino ( with pain au chocolat). The host welcomed us and was available and asked how things were in passing. I would recommend this property and location to anyone. We had a wonderful time.”

“The house was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. The children (2-5 years old) loved the yard and game room, and the adults got the game room to themselves when the children went to bed. The grounds are lovely and well maintained and the house is very comfortable. Martin, our host, was very responsive. We did not rent cars, so we used a tour company for day trips and also used taxis for nearby destinations. Thank you Martin!”
