On arrival had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come back to the lobby area to wait on me for check in. Once we made it to our room, we discovered that the air conditioner was not cold at all. It was just blowing warm air. Also discovered the air conditioners in the hallway were in the same condition and blowing warm air. would not recommend this place to anyone else and will definitely not come back.

The place suited the bare minimum for what I needed. It had two overpriced vending machines, an ice machine that was broken, and weak wifi. It also took time to get to somewhere decent to eat. But it was close to where I needed to be and was cheap. Remember kids, you truly do get what you pay for.

The property was conveniently located and priced; however, needed cleaning, paint, and replacement locks on at least one exterior door. The single-pane windows allowed much of the local highway noise into the room and the HVAC was very noisy. The staff was not present at the front desk the three times I approached it; however, responded quickly and was helpful when called on the posted phone number. During my week stay, I went to get fresh towels, but had to return the used ones prior due to their limited supply.

This hotel is not as advertised here. Avoid.

The first thing we noticed when we pulled up was that the Hotel had signs all around that it was an Eco Lodge, not "The Stonewood Inn & Suites" The man behind the desk wore a hoodie behind a pane of bulletproof glass and he looked like Emperor Palpatine. He didn't have our reservation through Hotels.com and took forever to check us in. The room was disgusting with a couple dead roaches about and dirt and grime over everything. It was cold and uncomfortable even with the heater there. Lastly, and particularly frustrating is that it is advertised that there is a continental breakfast. There is none. We went to the lobby at around 8am, no one was behind the front desk, there was no food of any kind in the table/counter area. There was one carafe of coffee with coffee so cold that it must have been made the day before. I would have asked for my money back there, but no one ever came back to the front desk. This "Inn and Suites" is more of a no-tell motel with hot and cold running roaches. Avoid at all costs.

Great stay

We stayed for 2 weeks while visiting our son and grandkids over the Christmas and New Year holidays. The staff was courteous and friendly. Since we had never stayed at this location before we asked to see the room before we checked in and they were very happy to help even though it was late at night. The room was clean and comfortable.

The toilet seat had dried urine on it. The room smelled bad. The toilet had black crud all around the bottom. The shower had stains on the tub bottom and black mold in all of the crevices. The sink had black crud all around the drain.

Room was not the cleanest. The water pressure in the shower was amazing!!! Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Overall was a good place to stay. Stayed for 5 days.

No service, inflexible booking

Be careful booking this. Reservations seem only to be refundable within a few hours of you making the booking. The room had no room service, and we had to take our dirty towels to the front desk to have them replaced. Trash also isn't removed from the room. Bathroom was in poor condition with dirt around the edges of the floor, the plug had been removed from the bath, and the door barely closed. The air conditioner blasted about 30 seconds of arctic air before switching to warm air (and it was sub freezing outside).

It would be ideal if you were traveling and needed a place to stay the night. If not, find alternative I had made a payment online before my visit but got there and was asked for a $100 deposit fee that must be a cash payment. The room had this foul smell, and the microwave was rusted. I asked for a change of room, which was a bit more conducive than the prior one, but the situation didn't differ much.

Uninhabitable….but the AC worked great!!

I was grateful I only booking it for one night. There were dead bugs in the fridge (took pics) and the freezer in the little dorm fridge was disgusting. I had carry out that needed to be put in the fridge and I lined the shelves with plastic bags I had in the car. I put clean socks on when I got into the room and before I went to bed they were filthy dirty. And then to top that off a bug ran across the sheets while I was settling in. The socks got dirtier in the morning while getting ready, which did NOT include a shower because the tub did not look clean at all. I told the guy in the office about my issues and that I wanted a refund and he said I had to contact the company I booked it thru. ZERO accountability for the condition of the room and zero sympathy for my experience.
