Very disappointing
First, the positives: The unit itself is very nice and clean. Nicely decorated and spacious. The balcony had a lovely breeze which I enjoyed while working. Unfortunately, my entire reason for renting this particular property was the fact that it had a pool, was close to the ocean, and had a place I could walk my dog. In the middle of our 7 hour drive, I received a call informing me that we would be unable to use the pool. Apparently, there had been electrical problems & the inspection was done. I wanted this as my disabled husband doesn't usually go to the beach because it is hard for him. He was planning on going to the pool as I went to the beach. That didn't happen. We received another message saying we would be able to use the pool, only to be told in a 3rd message that we would not be able to use it. My son was also coming to visit me as he is located at a nearby military base. He was also looking forward to the pool. The picture shown on the site was a little misleading as it is apparently an aerial view. This led me to believe there was an open field next door in which I could walk my dog. Turns out, we had about 1.5 ft path between the gravel drive & field which was briars & wild plants/shrubs that could not be walked in. The path was mostly sand, some gravel, very little grass. I also understand security but messaging me to tell me where to walk my dog and where to park because you are watching constantly is annoying and feels creepy.
