Things to know for prospective visitors: property provides firewood for woodstove or outside fire pit, but no newspaper, kindling, no hatchet etc. the wood was slightly damp, so impossible to light without help. “overall content with our stay would recommend for a weekend out there. it was very close to the slopes and super easy to get to the mountain. cabin was as pictured! we were warned about the highway sounds but only after booking. while the noise was fine, some of us were a bit more sensitive to it. cabin was sometimes really cold- there were wall heaters and two space heaters but no extra blankets. main floor wall heater didn't seem to warm the space up much. ”

“My husband and I really loved our stay here. We just wanted a few days in nature and this place delivered so well. It was warm and sunny our first day, so we had an outdoor fire. It was chilly the next day so we had hot tub time overlooking the river. It snowed the next day so we spent the day by the fire. In all weather this place is fantastic.
