Large independent house in the village center with large garden.

Large house located in the village center, calm and bright, of 180 m2, recently renovated and refreshed with all the comforts, equipment and heating. Large living room of 60 m2 with fireplace, with two leather sofas, tables and desk, antique furniture.
The living room gives access to the south-facing terrace overlooking the garden.
The kitchen is equipped with a hob, oven and washing machine, as well as a dishwasher.
A first bedroom on the ground floor is served by the shower room. The staircase leads to four bedrooms upstairs, one of which is very large with a large bed overlooking the garden. All rooms are on the garden and very quiet.
The village is 11 minutes from Barbizon, 17 from Fontainebleau. Paris is served by train to Melun, located 15 kms.
You can also get to Paris by the A 6 in 45 minutes.
The village is bordered by a forest and the surrounding villages, Dannemois, Courances are accessible by bicycle in unspoiled nature along the river.
The Fontainebleau forest is accessible from many places like Arbonne or Barbizon or Fontainebleau.

Good location is beautiful and well equipt village close to forest and especially to small climb area further north (4km away). Good place for basis rustic base for a family week.

Spacious but filthy cottage

The cottage is spacious with 5 big sleeping rooms and a large terrace and garden. The cottage is very quiet in a small village. However, the cottage was not clean upon arrival and on our first day we have cleaned several hours. There was a leakage in the bathroom during rainfall and one of the 2 toilets was not working properly. There are no smoke alarms. In the current state this cottage should not be on the market to rent out.

Belle et spacieuse propriété donnant sur une grande terrasse et un grand jardin clos de murs.

Merci à Emmanuelle pour son accueil, sa flexibilité et sa disponibilité. Grâce à elle et sa charmante maison, située dans un joli village avec épicerie, pharmacie et médecins, nous avons passé en famille des vacances ressourçantes.

Groot huis veel privacy

Heerlijk groot huis en grote tuin. Mooie oude meubels en prima bedden. 1 kamer kon je alleen via een andere kamer bereiken. Het huis was niet echt schoon. We moesten veel afwassen voor het konden gebruiken en we hebben ook even gedweild. De badkamers en wc waren wel schoon. Maar daarna echt genoten. De bossen van Fontaineblau waren mooi met al die rotsen. Er was op een half uur rijden een strandje bij de seine maar dat was erg druk toen wij gingen. Parijs en Versaille zijn goed bereikbaar. In het dorp is een glasblazerij met een mooie expositie in de tuin en een leuke winkel. Ook is er een bakker en een pizzaria.

Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Lage, aber...

Was für ein großzügiges und schönes altes Haus,und was für ein schöner Ort (auch perfekt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung). Auch die Möblierung (weitgehend Antiquitäten) haben uns sehr gefallen. Allerdings ließ die Sauberkeit im allgemeinen sehr zu wünschen übrig. Eine Grundreinigung und Instandhaltung wäre wirklich empfehlenswert...

Aktivurlaub 4 Personen

Für einen Aktivurlaub in der Region um Fontainebleau, haben wir eine Woche im Haus von Emanuelle gewöhnt. Es war, wie beschrieben, alles vorhanden. Die Haushaltsgeräte (Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, Herd, Kühlschrank) waren in einwandfreiem Zustand. Wasch- und Putzmittel waren sogar auch vorhanden. Die Schlafzimmer waren sehr gemütlich, die Betten bezogen und bequem. Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohlgefühlt und dessen französischen Charme genossen. Der Kontakt mit Vermieterin Emaunelle war sehr unkompliziert und freundlich; sie war immer erreichbar, wenn man zwischendurch ein Anliegen hätte. Fazit: alle 4 sehr zufrieden; Empfehlung!

We liked it!!

Four people on a bouldering trip to Fontainebleau. The apartment is old, but has very comfortable beds, quiet bedrooms, good heating, a nice fireplace and lots of space to an affordable price. Minus one star because kitchen equipment was a bit old and worn out.
