“Enjoyed a nice leisurely week by the lake. Conveniently located near Concordia Language Village. Well stocked with towels, basic kitchen amenities. For those who want to have a camp fire, play shuffleboard, etc there are camp like amenities Local tap water has a lot of iron so recommend purchasing some drinking water”

“A cute place! Nice open kitchen, dining room, living room. Rooms are good size and beds are comfy. Outdoor space is a delight. Nice and private. Fun amenities and a perfect place to hang! ”

“The cabin is well maintained and exceptionally clean. The hosts are excellent about communication. The sunroom is an absolutely lovely place any time of the day or night. Some things came up during our stay that were unfortunately timed, as the hosts had little control over being able to “fix” them, but they were informative and understanding.”

“Absolutely perfect stay on Big Turtle Lake. The cabin was cozy and modern, exactly as it says. We brought a small fishing boat and the dock was fabulous. It was a hot couple of days and the air conditioning worked so well. And the beds were so comfortable! I never expect to sleep well away from home but I actually slept better than at home. We grilled and enjoyed the deck. It was ideal! Our grandpa lived on Big Turtle Lake and it was really special to be back at one of my favorite places in the……

“This is a special place! It’s a beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting! The check in was very easy and the cabin had everything that we needed, including in the kitchen. I enjoyed taking the kayak out for an evening paddle on the smooth as glass lake and enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the loons. The little store in Laporte was close for picking up milk and sweet corn. We look forward to staying here again! ”

“There is nothing about this place that isn’t absolutely beautiful in every way. The home was unique and so comfortable, decorated and finished with such care. The location, so remote and quiet. The 360°views from the upstairs deck, numerous windows or just walking around the carefully landscaped yard were amazingly beautiful! Cell reception and internet were just enough to keep up on things. It was good to get away from the distraction of technology. Our host Annie was on the spot to help us get……
