“I loved the location! It was exactly what we needed for a short but lovely stay in Venlo. The bartender Nikki is the best! She and I had the most lovely chat. She is very welcoming! ”

“Communication from the start was excellent. A couple days before arrival I received contact to enquire about arrival time. As we would be arriving late we were advised how to get our key, with full directions and pictures to make it easy to arrive without disturbing others. When we got into the room, it was lovely and thoughtfully put together, however there were no towels at all - a quick message later and this was resolved with profuse apologies (& and extra little packets of nougat!) “Wir hatten Haus Nr. 141 und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Einzig die Check-in Zeit von erst um 16 Uhr hätten wir uns früher gewünscht, zumal das Haus gegen Mittag von außen betrachtet, sauber war. Die Check-out Zeit bis 10 Uhr ist auch sehr früh. Woanders ist 11 Uhr durchaus üblich. Die Wärmepumpe/Klimaanlage des Nachbarhauses 142 ist sehr laut und könnte bei lauen Sommerabenden stören . Im Herbst fallen Eicheln von dem am Haus stehenden Baum, was die Nachtruhe stören könnte. Dies ist aber die……

“Room was excellent, only very slight issue was a sticky mark on one of the bedside tables, but that was minor in the grand scheme of things. Decent size room, heating was required as outside temp was cold and it worked well. Shower and bathroom excellent, and the bed is the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on - wish I could get one shipped back to the UK! Bar area is warm and welcoming and the staff were all excellent, gladly speaking English as I couldn’t speak Dutch unfortunately. Aisha on……
