“At first I thought “ what did I get myself into” because the hotel is old . But then quickly realized that it’s old but high quality hotel . Awesome staff members such as Sarah , Glen and maintenance guy Joseph . The property and its surroundings are AMAZING ! And a pleasure to explore the wilderness / suburbs settings along with the creativity of the town of Simsbury . Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby immediately. They have a park/ frog pond in back of 1820 Hotel along with walking……
