“My family and I (two adult children, and my wife and I) had a wonderful time visiting Bermuda, staying in Tom Watlington's Sage Cottage. Tom and his brother Hartley were great hosts, even showing us around the local area and helping us get groceries on our first day in Somerset Village. It was great! The property was nicely located, just across from Mangrove Bay and a short walk from Cambridge Beaches and the nearest bus stop. One point of feedback, the property is hard to find. Before……

“We had a lovely 5 night stay here in March. We were in room 1. It was so clean and quiet, cozy yet there was ample room! The apartment is very cool—there’s a fun little upstairs nook (up a spiral staircase) and the most place has everything we needed. There’s a grocery store, pharmacy, and liquor store within 5 minutes. We rented a scooter and parked it on the property without any issue. The host was very responsive but also super thorough so I didn’t really need to reach out to them for……

“Right next to Devils Hole, and a short 5 min walk to an amazing beach at John Smith's Bay. A downstairs room in a shared house, with other long term residents upstairs, who were lovely during our stay.We mostly used buses, but this may be better suited to those hiring bikes due to early termination of bus services (6pm ish).We did have a plumbing issue early on, but the host was very communicative (and apologetic) and this was resolved as soon as was reasonably possible.So a great base for……

“We had a fantastic three day weekend on the island. The beds were super comfortable and plenty of space.We took cabs and also utilized the bus system. Super easy to get around the island.There are several restaurants that you can walk to. Our favorite was the Gulfstream. Try their delicious thin crust pizza and sushi. It’s right by horseshoe Beach, which is stunning. Definitely make a stop at horseshoe beach in the early evening when the cruise ship guests are not there. It’s very……

“Our host was very kind and attentive. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and located across the street from a beautiful string of beaches. The pool was not filled as we expected from the photo, probably because it was not too hot out yet. We would be glad come again.”

“The house had a great view, was comfortable, in a great area. We always felt safe. Bus stop in front of the shop was perfect, but was actually in the road. We waited for the bus in a driveway near the stop.This is an older house and right on the water causing it to need a lot of maintenance. I enjoyed it, but in all honesty it needed some love and attention. I was decorating it in my mind.”

“We stayed 12 days at Whispering Waves And had an excellent time. Wendell, Xinia,and jasmine are a lovely family, with a wealth of knowledge to share about their island. The views from their home are beautiful overlooking the ocean with a large green space. There’s a table for two outside your private entrance. There’s a bus stop in either direction on the road side of the property, we traveled on the bus every day, if you get the bus pass, you can travel from one end of the island to the other……
