"Location is perfect. Walking distance to hanaford and main street.Breakfast (bread, cookies, coffee, yogert,...) is provided and that is good enough to start the day. Room was renovated. 3 days of stay with 2 kids was pleasent. I strongly recommend."

"My dog and I had a lovely few days here! They had great communication which made “check in/out” stress free. Definitely felt like a home away from home. They were also thoughtful enough to provide send suggestions for things to do and places to eat! Would absolutely stay here again!"

"We had the most fantastic stay at The Mount Desert House! Bill and Tina’s home/property was perfect for our family vacation to the Bar Harbor area. The kids were able to play in the yard with their awesome German shepherd, Murray. The outdoor/cookout area was perfect for hamburgers on the grill followed ..."
