“7 points, but Danny was the best thing about the hitching post. Very friendly and welcoming. And it smelled good in the office. He remembered us. We like the activism center next door. There was a band there which we were invited to. We can easily access the bus back to 17 and to the beach. We love grocery outlet, the microwave and the fridge. Checking in is so simple, and I was so exhausted. The bed was huge and comfy. My only complaint was too much bleach on the sheets. ”

“The room was clean. It was quite warm when I got in, but the AC worked fine. The staff were friendly. The parking lot was small, but had plenty of spaces while I was there. The main reason I went for this hotel was location. It's right off Highway 1, near downtown Santa Cruz, & only a 10-15 min drive to Aptos where I had an event. “When we arrived at around 1pm, I asked front desk if we can check in earlier, they said no room available at the moment, told me to come back at around 2.30pm, so we came back at 2.30pm, they said they’re still cleaning the room, told us either waiting at the lobby or they contacted us when the room is ready, so we chose wait at the lobby.
