The staff are all phenomenal and take care of all your needs, including preparing incredible food each day and safely driving through challenging roadways. The weather is great - rainy season, but brief storms at times, and there are plenty of open air, dry areas to enjoy the view. The house is obviously stunning, and then there is a rocky private beach with coral and tons of fish! Absolutely amazing!”

Because we were a party of four and needed at least 3 beds, Javid relocated us five min down the street in a very clean, spacious and nicely decorated villa apartment with grand tv screens and a spectacular view of the mountains from a spacious veranda which had updated patio furniture, there we spent most of our time. The kitchen was functional and clean. They were building more room on top the villa during the day, and very courteous when……

“Secluded property on the small plantation. More than a hundred yes old, but Very well maintained. People who manage and work on the farm are amazing, very polite, knowledgable about the property and the surrounding nature. There is no AC, but none is needed since it’s actually gets pretty cold, at night, due to the altitude, and we are in the dry season now. “The villa was very welcoming and fun with beautiful views of the mountains and ocean. Damian was a great driver who was available at all times of the day to give us rides which was very helpful in the difficult terrain. We arrived with lots of ideas with what to do, but Damian was very helpful in scheduling events for us and putting us in contact with great experiences in the area. I definitely recommend paying for the dinner to have the first night if you're arriving later in the day as it was……

“The Purple cottage was a fantastic stay for our family! We didn’t want some fancy pants resort. We wanted to feel like locals and experience the island for its beauty and cuisine and we got all of that staying here! The door entry was easy and made it functional for our whole family. Yes there were mosquitos, but honestly there are mosquitoes all over the island. Bring bug spray if you’re worried! Purple cottage provided plenty of citronella if you wanted to sit outside on the porch…but why……

Lovely pool. Roger and his family are such nice people, and you just need to say you are staying at Rogers place and everyone in town knows who you are. ”

Vi var väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse och i vårt tycke var det gångavstånd till både den botaniska trädgården (15-20 min) och till Anse Chastanet/Mamin (ca. 30-40 min) som var de finaste stränderna i området. Carshina var en glad och trevlig värd som dessutom bjöd oss på barbeque med resten av gatan vilket var en rolig överaskning. Kan vara lite högljutt på gatan utanför på morgonen då personer går till jobbet, så vill……

“All attractions are around the property in a drivable distance. Owner Zaved drives the guests at a reasonable price and brings them back to the property. Hospitality is fantastic. Property is relatively new and clean. ”

“Hands down, the best view in the entire country! Everything about the house is amazing and I would absolutely stay there again. Greg cleans the pool each morning and he was very kind and helpful in getting us what we needed. In terms of in-country staff and support, Greg was the highlight!We did have two issues during out stay.1.The directions we were given to the property did not reflect recent changes to landmarks and the closure of a primary road leading to the property. Google maps did not……
