This was possibly the worst checkin in memory. I paid for a king room and was told when I checked in that there were no more king rooms available - as they scratched out our original room number on the key cards and wrote another in. So obviously someone else got our room. The elevator had something sticky all over the floor and rather than cleaning it a caution sign was placed in the floor. When we got to our room the key cards didn’t work. I went down to the desk and could not get a new card. I was escorted to my room which was opened with a master key fob and told someone would be by in the morning to fix it. I asked if someone needed to stay in the room, since we had no working key cards, and was told yes. Someone would need to stay in the room to get back in. We paid for breakfast and I’m not sure how that will happen - unless we go one at a time.
Unacceptable.
