The loft bedroom is the shining jewel in my opinion because of the view, but being a loft, it may not be suited for people with mobility issues as the stairs to enter are steep. The wood burning fireplace does cause a smell to the cabin that, to me, was somewhat undesirable, but it is a normal smell for a room with a wood burning fireplace. “Check in was easy because the door was left unlocked. First thing was the smell that hit us. A half burned leftover log was in the fireplace that smelled overwhelmingly bad. Making our way around there was dust and a grimy feeling on the beds. Luckily we bring covers to put over the beds and our own blankets just in case. The third night we lost power for a few hrs which is not a fault of the property owner however it would’ve been nice to know we wouldn’t have water if the power went out. We……
