“Island Cove was perfect for our family vacation. The house fit the six of us (plus two infants and two dogs) comfortably, and everyone loved spending time at the beach, on the pontoon boat, and playing yard games. The check in and check out procedures were simple. It's so rare to find a place like this that ticks all the boxes - great location, easy rental experience, plenty of amenities, and the ability to bring the dogs along for the fun! We'll definitely rent again.”

“Our group of friends had an a amazing weekend at the Thunderbird Lodge. The place was amazing and full of old time charm with lots of room to spread out and explore the grounds. The big picture windows and HUGE porch were a highlight of the trip to take in the peaceful sights and sounds of the river.”

There are 2 very lovely porches to enjoy your book or simply listen to the Au Sable & birds and a few steps down to the river for fishing. Great dining opportunities are close or up to 20 minutes away. We plan to stay here again!!”
