“This is an excellent hotel fir a vacation with a well-maintained pool, beautiful views of the river in the back and harbor in the front, a fitness room, a playroom with billiards, video games, board games and a TV, a large deck with a terrific view of the river, and outdoor sitting and eating areas. The staff was responsive and helpful. Only drawbacks: pool closed a little early, at 8, and no elevator. ”

“What a charming old house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the host Ed couldn't have been nicer and greeted us as we arrived. He showed us around and told us about the house. The location was perfect for us to visit our son who is working in the area. House was super clean and our two small under 20lb. (noisy) dogs were welcome. The dresser in the bedroom is the same antique dresser I have at home!! I would stay again. We had fun watching the wild turkeys that were nearby. Thanks again Ed.”

“Absolutely loved this property. The house was small, clean, and right on the beach. Perfect for 2 people. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because I just went to book this place again for next year and the price has been raised to $600 a night. So sad, I wanted to go back but not at that price. ”

“We were looking for a low-key cottage with water access in a quiet location, and the Boathouse Loft met our needs perfectly! This property is beautiful and we loved looking out at the pond and kayaking on it. It's also a perfect location for bird watching, on the pond and at other sites just short drives away.
