Was not happy with our stay at all. Room was very dated, not clean. Bathroom had an unpleasant smell. The TV stand had two burn marks. The coffee maker had a lot of dust on top. Everything that was metal, lamps, shower soap holder... was completely rusted. We were on our way home to NJ and wanted to stay overnight close to the highway on a clean room. Cleanliness is most important to me. After the experience with the room, we did not want to eat the breakfast served. Kitchen could not have been clean. I could not wait to leave the next morning. We will not be staying at Comfort Inn again.

Booked a room on Expedia, but when we got to the hotel, they were out of rooms. Phones have not worked tried calling the number dozen times in ringing. Still haven’t received a refund due to them not having a room.

The building is right next to free way and if you end up in a room with not very good sound proofing you might be bothered by traffic noise at night. Having said that it is a small town motel, with nice staff and decent amenities. The rooms are big and spacious. Stayed there for a night would suggest if you need to spend a night while traveling.

The sheets seems to be clean and the room was reasonably wiped down but many places were missed. The room was smelly. It’s a bit run down. The elevator was disgusting - sticky and smelly. Many Comfort Inns are much better than this one. Wouldn’t stay here again especially for the price.

I only had one problem with this hotel. That issue was my room smelled like dogs lived there. If your hotel is going to allow pets (very honorable) and have designated rooms for guests with pets PLEASE remove the carpets from those rooms. Laminate floors would be ideal. They are don’t retain odors or stains like carpet. The staff were very friendly including the housekeeping crew!

Friendly
Firm beds, 4 soft pillows on each. Breakfast had waffles, yogurt, cereal, chocolate milk, juice & more. The coffee was really tasty. Everyone on staff was friendly & always saying hello when you passed. Near south hill downtown. Quiet and clean. Loved it!

I wish I remembered the woman’s name that checked me in because she was amazing. It was late at night and there was a man that showed up and was on his phone talking loudly and very vulgar. The woman told the man in a very polite and professional way to please refrain from such language. The man was rude and he seemed very sketchy. The woman handled the situation well and was able to get the man to leave without the situation escalating. The woman also made me feel very welcome and comfortable. She is one of the best customer service people I have ever had the pleasure of getting helped by. She deserves a raise! The hotel was nice enough, but it definitely could use some updates.

There was a party next door my first night until 130am on the first floor. The front desk should have known about it and asked for them to tone it down. Then the same night there was a crowd on the side of the building at 4am -430am that carried on loudly, waking others I found out in the morning at breakfast. The customer should not have to report noise and after hours disturbances. The place is not big, just walk thru about 11 and listen...
