“We are not far from Chicago, but we wanted to stay near for a 3 day event in the area. Our code did not work at check-in but the property manager was very quick to respond so that we could get inside. We did not have any issues with the property; the location was central to where we needed to go and eat, the property was clean and it was quiet around the unit. We did have 4 children under 10 with us and were told the day of check-in that there was an older man that lived below and not to run……

“We rented this vacation home for a girls’ weekend in Chicago and truly enjoyed staying there. It was clean and comfortable. The only issue we encountered was taxi drivers would not drop us at the rear alley entrance to the building (the entrance we were instructed to use) citing ‘safety concerns’, so we would have to walk around the building to get to the rear entrance. We never felt threatened while staying there so I’m not sure where they were coming from. All in all we would not hesitate to……

“Perfect apartment to go to the convention center, our walk to the event was closer than our friends who stayed in the Marriott and walked via the bridges. ”

“There was confusion with VRBO regarding our arrival date, no fault of the property owner. They made arrangements to clean the unit and provide lunch for our group while we waited and offered a second night free for the inconvenience. Highly recommend. Property owner went above and beyond!”

“The stay was great and the place was very cute. However, the pictures do not show that the bedrooms (king bed and the bunk beds) are in the same room and there is no door that separates them, just a half wall. But great communication with owners and great location”

“We had gathered for a memorial service. The house was in an amazing location with the Mexican American museum and the incredible Pilsen murals to see. Our recommendations would be to get some non-slip mat or stickers in the bottom of the tub for older people. Also, some over the door hangers to hang towels in the bathroom would be great. ”

“Just stayed here for a weekend with a couple family members and went to see Disturbed, Three Days Grace and Sevendust at the United Center. Booking was just what was promised by the ad. Very professionally maintained with nice little touches. Great neighborhood and super convenient. A excellent value for the money. Jaye is a first class host. Will look to stay here again when I come back to the city. ”
